News Corp Repurchases $242M Worth of Shares

News Corporation said it bought back 62,323 shares on the previous day for US$1.78 million, after repurchasing 9.57 million shares before that day for US$242.02 million.

The latest purchase price ranged from US$28.335 to US$28.664 per share, while the prior day’s buyback was completed at US$28.975 per share, the highest price paid in the program to date.

Since the 2025 repurchase program began, News Corp has bought about US$375.0 million of its Class A and Class B stock, leaving roughly US$625.0 million remaining under the US$1 billion authorization. The company’s Class A buyback notice covers 360,481,225 shares on issue, with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC acting as broker. Today the company's shares have moved -1.78% to a price of $27.785.
