Inspire Medical Systems said Casey M. Tansey will retire from its board on July 30, ending more than 18 years of service.
Tansey has served on the board since November 2007, when he led Inspire’s Series A financing through U.S. Venture Partners. The company said he was one of the first venture investors to recognize the potential of Inspire therapy for patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
Chairman and CEO Tim Herbert said Tansey has provided “valuable mentorship, leadership, and perspective” through the company’s founding, initial public offering, and later growth.
Inspire said it expects to name a replacement director in the near future. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -2.19% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $51.34. For the full picture, make sure to review Inspire Medical Systems's 8-K report.
