News Corporation said it has now bought back about US$380.45 million of stock under its 2025 repurchase program, leaving roughly US$619.55 million remaining from the US$1 billion authorization.
In the latest daily update, the company reported buying 66,163 shares on the previous day for US$1.82 million. That followed a much larger buyback tally the day before, when it repurchased 9.70 million shares for US$245.63 million.
The program covers Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock, not ASX-listed CDIs. News Corp said the repurchases are being handled by Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and can be made in the open market or otherwise.
The company’s filing showed 360.48 million shares on issue in the class subject to the buyback. The highest price paid so far was US$28.97 on July 17, 2026, while the lowest was US$22.20 on Feb. 9, 2026. The buyback was described as a move to enhance shareholder value.
