Bank of America raises dividend by 14%

Bank of America raised its quarterly common stock dividend to $0.32 per share, an increase of $0.04, or 14%, from the prior quarter’s $0.28.

The new dividend will be paid on Sept. 25, 2026 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 4, 2026.

The bank also said it repurchased $13.2 billion of common stock in the first half of 2026 and paid $4 billion in dividends during the same period. Under its $40 billion share repurchase authorization, which began Aug. 1, 2025, Bank of America said about $17 billion remained available for buybacks as of June 30, 2026.

In addition, the board declared a quarterly dividend of $1.75 per share on its 7% cumulative redeemable preferred stock, Series B. That payment is scheduled for Oct. 23, 2026 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 9, 2026. Today the company's shares have moved 0.77% to a price of $61.75.
