News Corporation said it has now bought back about US$386.0 million of stock under its 2025 repurchase program, after spending another US$1.87 million in the latest daily update.
The company reported that, as of the previous day, it had repurchased 9.8337 million shares for a total of US$249.32 million, with 70,004 shares bought back on the prior day alone for US$1.87 million.
The buyback program authorizes purchases of up to US$1 billion of the company’s Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock. Based on that ceiling, News Corp still has roughly US$614.0 million of capacity left.
The company’s latest filing also showed the highest price paid so far in the program was US$28.97 a share, while the lowest price paid was US$22.20. The latest update was dated July 27, 2026, following a previous announcement on July 24, 2026. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 1.63% to a price of $26.76.
