Cheniere Energy Partners Raises Quarterly Cash Distribution

Cheniere Energy Partners declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.820 per common unit, up from the prior quarter’s $0.775 base amount plus a $0.045 variable amount. The new payout is unchanged in total at $0.820, but the release explicitly breaks it into the same two components: $0.775 base and $0.045 variable.

The distribution is payable August 14, 2026 to unitholders of record on August 7, 2026.

The company also said the related distribution to its general partner will be paid at the same time.

Cheniere Partners said 100% of distributions to foreign investors are attributable to income effectively connected with a U.S. trade or business, and therefore subject to U.S. withholding tax. It also said 100% of those distributions are in excess of cumulative net income for purposes of the applicable Treasury regulation.

The partnership owns the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Louisiana, whose liquefaction facilities have a total production capacity of more than 30 million tonnes per annum of LNG. It also owns the Creole Trail Pipeline, which connects the terminal with multiple interstate and intrastate pipelines. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 1.04% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $63.595.
