Belden reported record second-quarter 2026 results, with revenue rising to $750.2 million from $672.0 million a year earlier, an increase of $78.2 million, or 12%. Organic revenue growth was 8%.
Net income increased to $68.5 million from $61.0 million, while diluted earnings per share rose to $1.74 from $1.53. Adjusted EPS climbed to $2.34 from $1.89, up 24%.
Orders reached a record $836 million, up 19% from the prior-year quarter, and the book-to-bill ratio was 1.11.
Gross profit increased to $293.6 million from $258.6 million. Operating income rose to $99.3 million from $79.2 million. Adjusted EBITDA jumped to $145.9 million from $114.1 million, and adjusted EBITDA margin expanded to 19.5% from 17.0%.
For the first half of 2026, revenue increased to $1.447 billion from $1.297 billion, up $149.7 million, or 11.5%. Net income rose to $119.6 million from $112.9 million, and diluted EPS improved to $3.04 from $2.79.
Adjusted EBITDA for the first six months climbed to $264.0 million from $218.0 million, while adjusted EPS increased to $4.10 from $3.49.
Cash from operations totaled $110.6 million in the first half of 2026, up from $89.5 million a year earlier. Capital expenditures rose to $85.1 million from $57.4 million. Free cash flow fell to $25.5 million from $32.2 million.
At quarter-end, cash and cash equivalents were $348.7 million, down from $389.9 million at the end of 2025. Long-term debt declined to $1.231 billion from $1.286 billion.
Belden said third-quarter 2026 revenue is expected to be between $950 million and $970 million, with adjusted EPS guided to $2.15 to $2.30.
