AZZ Inc Appoints Rhonda Davenport as Chief HR Officer

AZZ Inc. appointed Rhonda Davenport as chief human resources officer effective August 3, 2026, adding a veteran HR executive with more than 20 years of experience to its leadership team.

Davenport most recently served as chief people officer at Cain Watters & Associates, where she led end-to-end human resources, oversaw HR for portfolio companies and a nonprofit organization, and built the HR function to support organizational growth. Her background includes senior HR roles at Unisys, Speed Commerce, Sirius XM, Freeman Company, Kohl’s Department Stores and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

The company said Davenport will oversee talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, total rewards, organizational effectiveness, succession planning and culture initiatives across AZZ’s operations.

Tom Ferguson, AZZ’s president and chief executive officer, said Davenport brings experience in building high-performing teams and aligning people strategies with business objectives. Davenport said she is joining the company “at an exciting time” and will work with the leadership team to advance its culture and performance.
