News Corporation said it has purchased about US$404.7 million of stock under its 2025 repurchase program, leaving room for up to US$1 billion in total buybacks of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B shares.
In the latest daily update, the company reported buying back 10,288,925 shares before the previous day and another 62,323 shares on the previous day. It paid US$261.96 million for the larger batch and US$1.76 million for the smaller one.
The company said the highest price paid in the program so far was US$29.06 a share, while the lowest was US$22.20. The latest repurchases were executed through Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC.
News Corp’s Class A share count listed in the filing was 359,831,113. The company said the repurchase program applies to Class A and Class B common stock, but not to ASX-listed CDIs.
