Playtika Q2 Revenue Up to $731.1M, Shares Drop 16.32%

Playtika Holding Corp. reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $731.1 million, up 5.0% from a year earlier but down 1.8% from the prior quarter, while adjusted EBITDA rose to $206.1 million, increasing 23.4% year over year and 64.6% sequentially.

Net income was $48.0 million, up from $33.2 million a year ago, and adjusted net income was $53.6 million. Operating income climbed to $134.6 million from $109.7 million in the second quarter of 2025.

Direct-to-consumer revenue reached $286.9 million, slipping 1.7% quarter over quarter but jumping 63.1% year over year.

Several engagement metrics softened. Average daily paying users fell to 367,000 from 378,000 in the first quarter and 378,000 a year earlier. Average DAUs declined to 8.0 million from 8.8 million in the prior quarter and 8.9 million a year ago. Average MAUs dropped to 24.8 million from 30.0 million in the first quarter and 30.9 million in the same period last year.

Payer conversion improved to 4.6% from 4.5% in the first quarter and 4.3% a year earlier. ARPDAU rose to $1.01 from $0.87 in both the prior quarter and the year-ago quarter.

Among game titles, Disney Solitaire generated $142.4 million in revenue, up 15.5% sequentially and 288.6% year over year. Bingo Blitz brought in $145.1 million, down 5.6% from the first quarter and 9.5% from a year earlier. June’s Journey produced $74.7 million, down 1.7% sequentially but up 8.1% year over year.

For the first six months of 2026, revenue totaled $1.476 billion, up from $1.402 billion in the first half of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA edged down to $331.3 million from $334.3 million, while net loss for the half-year was $9.5 million versus net income of $63.8 million a year earlier.

Cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments totaled $438.5 million at June 30.

Playtika reaffirmed full-year 2026 guidance of $2.75 billion to $2.85 billion in revenue and $750 million to $790 million in adjusted EBITDA, and said it now expects results toward the lower end of both ranges.
