Global Partners LP Focuses on Petroleum and Renewable Fuels

GLOBAL PARTNERS LP recently released its Form 10-Q, showing a business built around buying, selling, storing, blending and transporting petroleum products and renewable fuels. The partnership operates through three segments: Wholesale, Gasoline Distribution and Station Operations (GDSO), and Commercial. It also owns or has access to a terminal network and a large gasoline-station footprint, with 1,505 owned, leased or supplied stations as of June 30, 2026, including 286 directly operated convenience stores.

In Management’s Discussion and Analysis, the company said its results should be read alongside its consolidated financial statements and noted that three joint ventures are accounted for under the equity method, with its share of their income or losses recorded in equity method investments. The company also emphasized that the discussion excludes the financial condition and results of those equity method investments unless specifically stated otherwise.

Global Partners said it sold $6.7 billion of refined petroleum products, gasoline blendstocks, renewable fuels and crude oil in the three months ended June 30, 2026, and $11.8 billion in the six-month period. Other revenue totaled $0.1 billion for the quarter and $0.3 billion for the half year, driven by convenience store and prepared food sales, rental income from dealer-leased and commissioned-agent-leased stations, cobranding arrangements and sundries.

The company also highlighted several 2026 developments. On March 13, 2026, it and its lenders exercised the accordion feature under its credit agreement, lifting total commitment from $1.5 billion to $1.8 billion and increasing aggregate working capital interim commitments to $300.0 million for up to 364 days. On July 30, 2026, it redeemed all outstanding Series B Fixed Rate Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Units at $25.00 per unit, plus a $0.49479167 per-unit cash distribution for the period from May 15, 2026 through July 29, 2026. Today the company's shares have moved 1.52% to a price of $49.26. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 10-Q report here.
