Crypto.com, Trump Media and Technology Group, and Yorkville Acquisition Corp. said they are ending plans for the previously announced business combination that was to create Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, Inc.
The companies said the decision was driven by prevailing market conditions and shifting business and stakeholder priorities. As a result, all initial discussions and development efforts tied to the proposed combination and the digital asset treasury structure will be formally concluded.
Separately, Crypto.com, Trump Media, and Yorkville America also agreed not to move forward with their previously announced partnership under which Crypto.com would have serviced certain anticipated ETF offerings. Yorkville America said that, aside from ending that limited servicing arrangement, its ETF business plans remain unchanged.
The announcement marks a full termination of both the CRO treasury transaction and the ETF servicing partnership that had been under development. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 3.24%, and are now trading at a price of $10.21. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
