Crypto.com, Trump Media and Technology Group, and Yorkville Acquisition Corp. said they are ending two previously announced initiatives tied to CRO.
The companies said they will mutually terminate the proposed business combination that was intended to create Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, Inc. They also said all initial discussions and development efforts tied to that transaction and the digital asset treasury structure will be formally concluded.
In a separate move, the three parties said they will not pursue the previously announced plan for Crypto.com to service certain of Yorkville America’s anticipated ETF offerings. Yorkville America said its broader ETF plans remain unchanged aside from dropping that servicing arrangement.
The announcement marks a full reversal of the earlier CRO treasury and ETF partnership plans, with both efforts now being discontinued. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 3.24%, and are now trading at a price of $10.21. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
