General Dynamics appoints Danny Deep to its board

General Dynamics has added Danny Deep to its board of directors, expanding the leadership role of an executive who has already spent more than 20 years at the company.

Deep, 56, has served as president of General Dynamics since December 2025. Before that, he held several senior operating posts, including executive vice president for Global Operations, executive vice president for Combat Systems, and president of General Dynamics Land Systems.

The move comes as General Dynamics continues to operate on a large scale: the company says it employs more than 120,000 people worldwide and generated $52.6 billion in revenue in 2025. Deep’s appointment adds a longtime internal executive with broad operational experience to the board at a company spanning business aviation, ship construction and repair, land combat vehicles, weapon systems and munitions, and technology products and services. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 1.33% to a price of $392.05. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
