AbCellera said it will release top-line results from its phase 2 study of ABCL635 for moderate-to-severe vasomotor symptoms due to menopause before the market opens on Aug. 10, 2026, and will follow with an investor call at 4:30 a.m. PT.
The study is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial enrolling about 80 postmenopausal women. It is designed to measure how ABCL635 affects the frequency and severity of hot flashes.
ABCL635 entered the clinic in July 2025, making it the first program from AbCellera’s GPCR and ion channel platform to advance into the pipeline. The drug targets NK3R, a clinically validated receptor expressed on KNDY neurons in the hypothalamus.
AbCellera describes itself as a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on antibody-based medicines in endocrinology, women’s health, immunology, oncology, and other areas. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 6.13% to a price of $6.93. For the full picture, make sure to review AbCellera Biologics's 8-K report.
