General Dynamics has elected Danny Deep to its board of directors, adding the company’s president to the board after just over eight months in the role.
Deep, 56, became president in December 2025 and has spent more than 20 years at General Dynamics. Before being named president, he served as executive vice president for Global Operations, executive vice president for Combat Systems, and president of General Dynamics Land Systems.
The board move comes as General Dynamics continues to operate at large scale: the company said it employs more than 120,000 people worldwide and generated $52.6 billion in revenue in 2025. The appointment expands the leadership overlap between management and the board, with Deep now taking a formal governance role in addition to his operating responsibilities.
General Dynamics is based in Reston, Virginia and operates across business aviation, ship construction and repair, land combat vehicles, weapon systems and munitions, and technology products and services. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 1.33% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $392.05. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
