Carlyle recently released its latest 10-Q report. The Carlyle Group Inc. is an investment firm that deploys private capital through three reportable segments: Global Private Equity, Global Credit, and Carlyle AlpInvest. Its activities include buyouts, growth investments, real estate, infrastructure, credit strategies, and secondary private equity programs, with a June 30, 2026 total of $485 billion in assets under management.
In Item 2, management said Global Private Equity had $162.7 billion of AUM and $96.6 billion of fee-earning AUM as of June 30, 2026; Global Credit had $211.1 billion of AUM and $167.6 billion of fee-earning AUM; and Carlyle AlpInvest had $111.7 billion of AUM and $70.2 billion of fee-earning AUM. Carlyle said it earns management fees, transaction advisory and oversight fees, and performance fees when funds hit specified return hurdles, and noted that under U.S. GAAP it consolidates some advised funds even though segment reporting deconsolidates them.
The company said it deployed $14.3 billion in the second quarter of 2026 and $53.0 billion over the last 12 months. It realized $6.7 billion of proceeds from traditional carry funds in the quarter and $36.8 billion over the last 12 months, including $2.9 billion and $15.3 billion, respectively, from corporate private equity.
Carlyle reported $16.8 billion of inflows in the second quarter and $55.8 billion over the last 12 months, including $7.3 billion from evergreen wealth products. Those evergreen wealth products reached $20.1 billion of AUM at June 30, 2026, up 64% from a year earlier.
The firm said carry fund portfolios appreciated 3% in the quarter. Within Global Private Equity, corporate private equity funds rose 2%, infrastructure and natural resources funds rose 6%, and real estate funds were flat; Global Credit carry funds, which represented about 11% of total Global Credit remaining fair value, rose 4%; and Carlyle AlpInvest carry funds appreciated 3%.
Carlyle also disclosed that in July 2026 its board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.35 per share, payable August 26, 2026 to stockholders of record on August 17, 2026. During the second quarter, it completed the structuring of an investment vehicle in Global Private Equity that created liquidity for fund investors and raised capital for its next vintage U.S. buyout fund.
