Cardinal Health said fourth-quarter revenue rose 6% to $63.7 billion from $60.2 billion a year earlier, while full-year revenue climbed 14% to $254.2 billion from $222.6 billion.
Fourth-quarter operating earnings increased 70% to $729 million, and diluted earnings per share rose 70% to $1.70 from $1.00. Non-GAAP diluted EPS increased 40% to $2.91 from $2.08.
For the full fiscal year, operating earnings rose 15% to $2.6 billion from $2.3 billion. Non-GAAP operating earnings increased 30% to $3.6 billion from $2.8 billion, and non-GAAP diluted EPS climbed 37% to $11.26 from $8.24. Diluted EPS increased 12% to $7.23 from $6.45.
Net earnings attributable to Cardinal Health rose 67% in the quarter to $398 million from $239 million, and increased 10% for the year to $1.7 billion from $1.6 billion. Non-GAAP net earnings attributable to Cardinal Health climbed 36% in the quarter to $682 million from $501 million, and rose 34% for the year to $2.7 billion from $2.0 billion.
In the Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions segment, fourth-quarter revenue increased 6% to $58.8 billion from $55.4 billion, and segment profit rose 21% to $645 million from $535 million. For the full year, revenue increased 15% to $234.8 billion from $204.6 billion, and segment profit rose 23% to $2.8 billion from $2.3 billion.
In Global Medical Products and Distribution, fourth-quarter revenue fell 2% to $3.1 billion from $3.2 billion, but segment profit jumped to $150 million from $70 million. For the year, revenue edged up 1% to $12.7 billion from $12.6 billion, while segment profit rose 91% to $258 million from $135 million.
In the “Other” businesses, fourth-quarter revenue increased 7% to $1.7 billion from $1.6 billion, and segment profit rose 14% to $183 million from $160 million. For the year, revenue climbed 26% to $6.8 billion from $5.4 billion, and segment profit increased 37% to $707 million from $516 million.
Cardinal Health said operating cash flow for fiscal 2026 was $5.2 billion, with adjusted free cash flow of $5.0 billion. The company completed an additional $350 million share repurchase, bringing fiscal 2026 repurchases to $1.4 billion, and its board approved another $5.0 billion of repurchase authorization.
Looking ahead, Cardinal Health projected fiscal 2027 non-GAAP diluted EPS of $12.40 to $12.60, representing growth of 13% to 15% from adjusted fiscal 2026 results. It also forecast Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions revenue growth of 3% to 5%, Global Medical Products and Distribution revenue growth of 2% to 4%, and “Other” revenue growth of 11% to 13%.
