Amcor reported a sharp jump in fourth-quarter and full-year results for the period ended June 30, 2026, as the Berry acquisition and higher raw-material pass-through lifted sales and earnings.
For the June quarter, net sales rose to $6.4 billion from $5.1 billion a year earlier, an increase of $1.3 billion, or 26%. Net income swung to $389 million from a loss of $39 million. Diluted earnings per share increased to $0.83 from a loss of $0.10.
Adjusted EBITDA climbed 32% to $1.045 billion from $789 million, while adjusted diluted EPS rose 23% to $1.23 from $1.00.
For the full year, net sales increased to $23.5 billion from $15.0 billion, up $8.5 billion, or 57%. Net income more than doubled to $1.106 billion from $511 million. Diluted EPS rose to $2.38 from $1.60.
Adjusted EBITDA jumped 68% to $3.673 billion from $2.186 billion, and adjusted diluted EPS increased 13% to $4.02 from $3.56. Free cash flow rose 41% to $1.303 billion from $926 million.
In the quarter, Amcor said about $962 million of the sales increase came from acquired sales net of divestitures, while raw-material cost pass-through added about $280 million. Foreign exchange contributed about 2 percentage points, and volumes were about 0.5% higher than a year earlier. Price/mix was down about 1%.
Adjusted EBIT in the quarter rose to $836 million from $611 million, up 37%.
For the year, acquired sales contributed about $7.9 billion of the $8.5 billion increase in net sales. Raw-material pass-through added about $240 million, and foreign exchange added about 5 percentage points. Volumes and price/mix together reduced growth by about 2 percentage points.
Adjusted EBIT for the year climbed to $2.813 billion from $1.723 billion, up 63%.
By segment, global flexible packaging solutions posted quarterly net sales of $3.525 billion, up from $2.994 billion, and adjusted EBIT of $533 million, up from $435 million. Global rigid packaging solutions generated quarterly net sales of $2.873 billion, up from $2.088 billion, and adjusted EBIT of $352 million, up from $219 million.
For the full year, flexible packaging net sales rose to $12.829 billion from $10.066 billion, while adjusted EBIT increased to $1.789 billion from $1.398 billion. Rigid packaging net sales climbed to $10.677 billion from $4.943 billion, and adjusted EBIT rose to $1.176 billion from $435 million.
Amcor also declared a quarterly cash dividend of 65.0 cents per share, up from 63.75 cents per share on a post-split basis.
