SS Innovations International posted a record second quarter as revenue climbed 39.4% to $13.9 million from $10.0 million a year earlier, driven mainly by higher system sales and a sharp increase in surgical activity.
System sales rose 40.8% to $12.36 million from $8.78 million in the prior-year quarter, accounting for most of the top-line gain. Instrument sales increased 13.4% to $1.14 million from $1.01 million, while warranty sales more than doubled to $419,002 from $193,359. Lease income slipped 10.4% to $16,196 from $18,078.
Gross profit increased 20.0% to $7.1 million from $5.9 million, even as gross margin narrowed to 50.9% from 59.1% in the second quarter of 2025.
The company reported a net loss of $2.7 million, compared with a net loss of $0.3 million a year earlier. Diluted loss per share was $(0.01), versus $(0.00) in the prior-year quarter.
Installations of the SSI Mantra surgical robotic system rose to 30 from 23, up 30.4%. Surgical volume more than doubled, with SSI Mantra surgeries reaching 2,528 from 1,042, an increase of 142.6%. The cumulative installed base reached 224 systems at June 30, 2026, up from 105 a year earlier, and cumulative surgeries climbed to 12,272 from 4,657.
For the first half of 2026, revenue increased 65.6% to $25.0 million from $15.1 million. System sales rose 65.1% to $21.94 million, instrument sales advanced 54.5% to $2.29 million, and warranty sales jumped 145.9% to $776,688. Lease income declined 8.8% to $33,278.
Gross profit for the first six months rose 77.5% to $12.4 million from $7.0 million, while gross margin expanded to 49.6% from 46.3%.
The first-half net loss widened slightly to $6.2 million from $5.9 million. Diluted loss per share held at $(0.03).
First-half installations increased to 56 from 38, up 47.4%, and surgeries rose to 4,387 from 1,861, a gain of 135.7%.
