News Corp Repurchases $276.1M in Shares

News Corp said it had repurchased 10,783,668 shares for US$276.1 million in the period before 14 August 2026, followed by another 58,482 shares for US$1.7 million on 14 August 2026.

The company said the highest price paid in the buy-back was US$30.79 a share, on 6 August 2026, while the lowest price paid was US$22.20, on 9 February 2026.

News Corp said it has now bought back about US$425.9 million of stock under its 2025 repurchase program, which authorizes up to US$1 billion of Class A and Class B shares. That leaves roughly US$574.1 million remaining under the program.

The company’s latest filing also said the repurchase program covers Nasdaq-listed Class A common stock and Class B common stock, with no ASX-listed CDIs included. Goldman Sachs & Co.
