Baxter International said it has named John Rogers as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Oct. 1, 2026.
Rogers is joining from Smith+Nephew, where he has been CFO since 2024 after serving as CFO-designate in 2023. Before that, he was CFO of WPP, where he led the company’s global transformation program. He also held senior roles at J Sainsbury, including CFO and chief executive of Sainsbury’s Argos, where he led a major digital transformation.
Baxter said Rogers will report to President and CEO Andrew Hider. Hider said Rogers brings operational expertise and experience leading complex transformation initiatives as Baxter works to stabilize the business, strengthen its balance sheet and improve execution.
The company also said it is reiterating its full-year 2026 financial outlook, which it last updated on July 30, 2026. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 2.93%, and are now trading at a price of $26.70. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
