United States Antimony Corp. said its board authorized a share repurchase program of up to $100 million, giving the company the ability to buy back existing common stock in the open market, through private transactions or other methods.
Chairman and CEO Gary C. Evans said the board reviewed the company’s projects in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and concluded the stock was undervalued, approving the program by unanimous consent.
The company said the repurchases can be made at the discretion of its finance committee, with timing and size depending on market conditions and corporate needs. It also said it may use Rule 10b5-1 plans to carry out purchases.
The program has no fixed expiration date and can be modified, suspended or terminated at any time.
USAC described itself as a producer and processor of antimony, zeolite and other critical minerals, with operations in Montana, Mexico and Idaho, and additional mining claims and leases acquired in Alaska, Montana and Ontario since 2024 and continuing into 2025. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 8.75% to a price of $5.655. For the full picture, make sure to review UNITED STATES ANTIMONY CORP's 8-K report.
