Ramaco Resources reshuffled its administrative and legal leadership on Aug. 20, naming Evan H. Jenkins as chief administrative officer in addition to his existing roles as vice chairman and board secretary.
Jenkins, who joined Ramaco in 2024 and had been general counsel, will now oversee internal operations spanning law, health and safety, environment, information technology, government relations, insurance, land, intellectual property and human resources.
The company also elevated Tyler Adkins, who has been with Ramaco since 2022, to general counsel from senior vice president of law and assistant secretary. Adkins previously served as vice president and assistant general counsel and held legal roles at Blackhawk Mining, Cleveland Cliffs Princeton Coal and Steptoe & Johnson.
Tyler Fields, who joined Ramaco in 2024, was promoted from vice president of law to assistant general counsel. Fields has more than 15 years of mining-industry experience and came to Ramaco from Alliance Resource Partners, where he was corporate counsel.
Ramaco also said Cameron Adkins recently joined as director of law, finance and operations. He graduated from Harvard Law School in May 2026 and from Columbia University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar finalist and a 2022 Harry S. Truman Scholar.
The appointments expand a legal and administrative team that now includes one executive taking on a broader oversight role, two internal promotions and one recent outside hire. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -6.22% to a price of $11.31. For the full picture, make sure to review Ramaco Resources's 8-K report.
