News Corp said it bought back 11,021,437 shares in the period before Aug. 21, 2026, paying a total of US$283.1 million. A further 58,482 shares were repurchased on the previous day for US$1.7 million.
The company reported that, under its 2025 repurchase program, it can buy back up to US$1 billion of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock. To date, it has spent about US$436.3 million on the program, leaving roughly US$563.7 million still available.
The buyback covered Class A common stock, with the company saying no ASX-listed CDIs would be repurchased. Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is acting as broker.
The highest price paid in the program was US$30.79 a share on Aug. 6, 2026, while the lowest was US$22.20 on Feb. 9, 2026. The company said it had 359,278,622 shares on issue in the class being bought back.
