United Fire Group (UFCS) Declares $0.20 Quarterly Dividend

United Fire Group declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share, unchanged from the prior payout cycle implied by the company’s ongoing quarterly dividend program. The dividend is payable Sept. 18, 2026, to shareholders of record as of Sept. 4, 2026.

The company also expanded its board to 12 members with the appointment of Teresa “Terri” Brown as an independent Class C director, effective Aug. 21, 2026. Brown will serve on the board’s risk management and audit committees.

Brown brings more than 35 years of property and casualty insurance experience. She most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Grange Insurance from 2016 until her retirement in 2024, and is currently a senior advisor at Boston Consulting Group. Her prior roles include chief risk officer at Allstate and Aviva USA, senior vice president of property insurance product management at Allstate, director at Deloitte Consulting, chief actuary and senior vice president of claims at Safeco Insurance, and chief actuary at Travelers Insurance.

United Fire Group said it has paid quarterly dividends since March 1968. The company was founded in 1946, is licensed in 50 states and the District of Columbia, and works through about 850 independent agencies.
