Jack Henry & Associates appointed Richard N. Preece to its board of directors, effective Aug. 20, 2026, and said he will serve on the Human Capital & Compensation and Risk & Compliance committees.
Preece is 51 and currently chief executive officer of Liminex, which does business as GoGuardian. Before that, he was chief operating officer at LegalZoom from 2019 to 2024. He also spent 17 years at Intuit, from 2002 to 2019, including a stint as U.S. general manager for QuickBooks.
The company also said director Wes Brown will not stand for reelection at the November annual meeting. Brown has served on the board since 2015, after an earlier term from 2005 to 2014, giving him 19 years of board service in total. Brown is president of Bent St. Vrain & Company, a Denver-based bank consulting firm. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 0.4% to a price of $171.185.
