Marqeta appoints Eugenia Gibbons as Chief Product Officer

Marqeta named Eugenia Gibbons its chief product officer, effective Aug. 31, 2026, as the company adds a product leader with experience across banking, payments and lending.

Gibbons joins from Intuit, where she was general manager of the consumer money business. Before that, she was senior vice president and consumer banking business unit leader at SoFi Technologies, and earlier served as global head of digital sales and customer engagement at BBVA. Her prior roles also include positions at Bank of America, Liberty Mutual Group, Hexacta and Accenture.

Chief Executive Mike Milotich said Gibbons’ background across product leadership, financial services, technical work and operations makes her suited to lead Marqeta’s product organization. He said she will help advance the company’s product strategy and capabilities for customers.

Marqeta said its platform processed nearly $400 billion in annual payments volume in 2025 and is certified to operate in more than 40 countries worldwide. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -0.06%, and are now trading at a price of $16.30. For the full picture, make sure to review Marqeta's 8-K report.
