News Corp (NWSA) Spends $288.1M in Buyback Program

News Corporation said it bought back 11,189,201 shares on the previous day, spending US$288.1 million, compared with 54,641 shares and US$1.68 million on the day before.

The company reported that the repurchases were part of its 2025 buyback program, which authorizes up to US$1 billion of Class A and Class B common stock. To date, it has spent about US$443.8 million under that program, leaving roughly US$556.2 million available.

The stock was bought at a high of US$30.88 on Aug. 24 and a low of US$22.20 on Feb. 9. The buyback applies to Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B shares and does not include ASX-listed CDIs.
