Altria Group Adds Steven W. Presley to Board

Altria Group named Steven W. Presley to its board of directors, effective Aug. 27, 2026.

Presley is chief executive officer of Refresco Benelux B.V., a role he has held since August 2025. Before that, he was executive vice president and chief executive officer for Nestlé’s Americas zone from October 2024 to April 2025, and executive vice president and chief executive officer for Nestlé’s North America zone from January 2021 to October 2024. He also held senior roles at Nestlé USA beginning in 1997, including chief executive officer, chief financial officer and chief transformation officer.

At Altria, Presley will join the Compensation and Talent Development Committee, the Innovation Committee and the Finance Committee.

Altria said its board addition comes as the company continues to manage a portfolio that includes Philip Morris USA, John Middleton, U.S. Smokeless Tobacco, Helix Innovations and NJOY, along with its Horizon joint venture and equity stakes in Anheuser-Busch InBev and Cronos Group. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 0.95%, and are now trading at a price of $68.31. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
