News Corporation said it has continued to accelerate its share repurchase program, buying back 11,294,643 shares for US$291.4 million in the period before Aug. 27, 2026, followed by another 50,801 shares for US$1.6 million on Aug. 27.
The company reported that, to date, it has repurchased about US$448.5 million of stock under its US$1 billion 2025 Repurchase Program, leaving roughly US$551.5 million still available.
The latest purchases lifted total shares bought back under the program to about 11.35 million in the two-day span disclosed. The highest price paid in the period was US$31.58 a share on Aug. 26, while the lowest price paid was US$22.20 a share on Feb. 9, 2026. On Aug. 27 specifically, the company paid US$30.66 a share at the low end of that day’s activity.
News Corporation said the repurchases cover its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock, not ASX-listed CDIs. The company has 360,464,857 shares on issue in the class covered by the notice.
