News Corp said it had repurchased a further 50,801 shares on the previous day, bringing the total bought back under its 2025 repurchase program to about US$450.8 million.
The company reported total buybacks of 11,345,444 shares before the previous day and 50,801 shares on the previous day, for a combined 11,396,245 shares repurchased so far.
The latest purchases cost US$1.58 million, compared with US$292.95 million for the earlier tranche. The highest price paid in the program was US$31.58 a share on 27 August 2026, while the lowest price paid was US$22.20 on 9 February 2026.
News Corp’s board authorized up to US$1 billion of repurchases of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock, leaving roughly US$549.2 million still available under the program based on the amount spent to date.
