Capital Southwest Increases Credit Facility by $85 Million

Capital Southwest increased its corporate credit facility by $85 million, taking commitments to $595 million from $510 million. The company also extended the revolving period by 37 months, to September 2, 2030 from August 2, 2027, and pushed final maturity out by 37 months, to September 2, 2031 from August 2, 2028.

The amendment cut the applicable margin to 2.00% from 2.15%, a reduction of 15 basis points. It also removed the SOFR adjustment and lowered unused commitment fees to a range of 0.50% to 0.75%, down from 0.50% to 1.00%.

The uncommitted accordion feature was expanded to $1 billion from $750 million, giving the company the potential to add another $405 million of borrowing capacity beyond the new $595 million commitment level.

Capital Southwest said it had approximately $2.2 billion in investments at fair value as of June 30, 2026. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -1.01% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $24.49. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
