Azenta Completes $35 Million Loan Repayment

Azenta said it has received full repayment of a $35 million secured vendor loan tied to its sale of B Medical Systems, bringing the total cash proceeds from the divestiture to $63 million.

The repayment came before maturity and included all accrued interest. With the loan paid off, the share pledge that secured the debt was released, and Azenta said the credit exposure from the transaction has now been retired.

The sale of B Medical Systems closed on July 1, 2026. At that time, Azenta Germany GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary, provided the $35 million vendor loan to the buyer, Thelema S.à r.l., as part of the deal structure.

Azenta said the latest repayment completes the divestiture and means it has now collected the entire purchase price in cash. Today the company's shares have moved -0.75% to a price of $30.945. For the full picture, make sure to review Azenta's 8-K report.
