News Corporation reported that its repurchase program has reached about US$465.9 million in total spending, after buying another 58,482 shares on Sept. 8 for US$1.74 million.
The company said it had already repurchased 11,669,450 shares before that day, with those purchases costing US$302.9 million. The latest daily notification shows the stock was bought at a highest price of US$30.18 and a lowest price of US$29.41 on the previous day’s trades, compared with a program-wide high of US$31.58 and low of US$22.20.
Under the 2025 Repurchase Program, News Corp can buy up to US$1 billion of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock. The company said it has now used roughly 46.6% of that authorization, leaving about US$534.1 million available.
The program covers Class A and Class B shares only; no ASX-listed CDIs are included. Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is handling the repurchases.
