News Corp said it had bought back 11,727,932 shares before the previous day and a further 58,482 shares on the previous day, bringing total consideration under its 2025 repurchase program to US$306.4 million.
The company’s daily buy-back filing showed the 11.73 million shares purchased before the previous day cost US$304.7 million, while the 58,482 shares bought on the previous day cost US$1.73 million.
Under the repurchase program, News Corp can buy back up to US$1 billion of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock. It said it had already purchased about US$468.5 million worth of those shares to date.
The company reported a highest buy-back price of US$31.58, paid on 27 August 2026, and a lowest price of US$22.20, paid on 9 February 2026. For the previous day’s purchases, the average price worked out to about US$29.60 a share, versus roughly US$25.96 a share for the larger batch bought before that day.
