SS Innovations said its SSI Mantra robotic surgery platform has reached 238 cumulative installations as of Sept. 8, up 42% from 168 at the end of 2025.
Procedures have grown even faster. The company said total multi-specialty procedures completed with SSI Mantra reached 14,103, a 79% increase from 7,885 at the end of 2025.
The company also said cumulative pediatric robotic surgeries reached 258 as of Aug. 31, while cumulative robotic telesurgeries reached 188.
Recent milestones included the installation of the first SSI Mantra system in Sri Lanka on Aug. 23, bringing the platform’s installed base to 12 countries. In Sri Lanka, the system was used for the country’s first robotic-assisted cardiac surgery and more than 25 additional robotic surgeries within the first three weeks.
In Colombia, SS Innovations said it launched a robotic cardiac surgery program on July 29 and performed the country’s first totally endoscopic beating-heart bypass surgery using SSI Mantra.
The company also highlighted a July 29 telesurgery spanning more than 13,600 miles, which it said set a new distance record for the platform. On Sept. 5, it said SSI Mantra was used for the first telesurgery within the Philippines, covering about 1,070 miles.
In pediatric surgery, the company said a 45-day-old baby underwent a robotic pyeloplasty on Aug. 14 in India using SSI Mantra and 5-millimeter instrumentation.
On Aug. 15, a surgical team in Indore used five SSI Mantra systems to complete 50 robotic general surgery procedures in a single day.
SS Innovations said about 1,500 physicians have been trained on the system, which has been used for more than 170 different surgical procedure types. Today the company's shares have moved 0.31% to a price of $3.23. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
