Tetra Tech said its board approved an additional $500 million share repurchase authorization, lifting total available repurchases to $898 million and more than doubling the amount remaining under the company’s existing program at the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2026.
Over the 12 months ended the third quarter of fiscal 2026, the company generated $567 million in cash flow from operations and returned $322 million to shareholders through buybacks and dividends. That means cash from operations exceeded shareholder returns by $245 million over the period.
Tetra Tech also said its net debt leverage ratio was 0.88x at the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2026, while strategic acquisitions completed during the period added new clients and technical capabilities.
The new authorization comes after the company had $398 million of repurchase capacity remaining before the board’s latest action. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 0.17% to a price of $35.57. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
