Crane Company said it has agreed to buy the U.S. pump business of Trillium Flow Technologies for about $240 million.
The acquisition price implies a multiple of about 14.6 times estimated 2026 adjusted EBITDA. The business is expected to generate about $115 million of full-year revenue, which means the purchase price is roughly 2.1 times that revenue figure.
The deal adds four pump brands — Floway, Wemco, Roto-Jet and WSP — to Crane’s portfolio. Crane said the business is focused primarily on U.S. municipal water and wastewater markets and comes with a large installed base that generates recurring service, repair, retrofit and replacement demand.
Crane said the acquisition will expand its position in highly engineered pump technologies and increase its exposure to water and wastewater markets. The company also pointed to opportunities to combine the acquired brands with its existing operating system and commercial capabilities.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter, pending regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -1.5% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $198.79. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
