NPK International said it has named James “JJ” Barton as executive vice president, commercial growth & operations, effective Sept. 22, 2026.
Barton is replacing Lori Briggs, who is leaving her role as executive vice president, business operations on Sept. 14, 2026.
The company said Barton most recently served as president of Clear Water Services, a subsidiary of Tidal Vision, where he led growth initiatives, operational improvements and integration efforts that lifted revenue, margins and EBITDA performance. He has also held senior leadership roles at Zeco, Mayco Wellchem and Baker Hughes.
NPK said Barton brings more than 20 years of experience across strategic sales, account management, service operations, manufacturing and growth execution. The company said his background in service operations, manufacturing, sales and strategic execution is expected to support its operating platform as it pursues growth.
