The company said it was operating two pilot electrolyte manufacturing lines with 30 metric tons of annual capacity. It expects that total to rise to 75 metric tons by year-end 2026 with the addition of a continuous pilot line.

Solid Power’s operating footprint included its headquarters and pilot cell production in Louisville, Colorado; pilot electrolyte production, the Electrolyte Innovation Center and cell testing in Thornton, Colorado; and a local office in Seoul, South Korea.

The company said it held more than 25 issued U.S. patents, more than 100 pending U.S. patent applications, and more than 120 non-U.S. and PCT patents and applications, alongside trade secrets and know-how.

Its partner base included BMW, SK On and Samsung SDI. Solid Power said its cell technology had been licensed by SK On for a pilot cell line in South Korea and by BMW for a prototype cell line in Germany, where BMW introduced an i7 test vehicle featuring Solid Power cells.

Solid Power described its current revenue mix as transitioning from licensing and development collaborations toward electrolyte supply. It said pilot-level electrolyte supply is already underway and is expected to become the primary revenue source as volumes increase.

The company also said it was pursuing a joint venture aimed at manufacturing scale and market access, and that it was evaluating potential partners for commercial-scale electrolyte production in Korea. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -2.57%, and are now trading at a price of $2.465. For the full picture, make sure to review Solid Power's 8-K report.
