Cabot Corporation said it will appoint Steve Delahunt as interim chief financial officer effective Oct. 1, 2026, replacing Erica McLaughlin as she moves into the chief executive role the same day.
Delahunt has more than 30 years of finance and treasury experience and has spent the last nine years, until January 2026, leading Cabot’s investor relations function in addition to his current role as vice president and corporate treasurer. In his treasury post, he oversees the company’s global treasury activities, capital markets strategy, liquidity management, banking relationships, risk management and pension investment oversight.
McLaughlin, currently executive vice president, chief financial officer and head of corporate strategy, will become president and chief executive officer on Oct. 1, 2026, succeeding Sean Keohane. Cabot said Delahunt will serve as interim CFO while it searches for a permanent replacement.
