Innodata Appoints Former NSA Director to Board

Innodata appointed Admiral Michael S. Rogers, the former director of the NSA and commander of U.S. Cyber Command, to its board of directors effective immediately.

The move comes as the company says it is accelerating its federal practice, launched last fall, and expanding capabilities aimed at AI safety and security. Rogers retired in 2018 after serving from 2014 to 2018 in those dual roles, and spent more than three decades in the Navy. He also previously led U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and the U.S. Tenth Fleet.

The board appointment follows two earlier additions: General Richard D. Clarke, former commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, and Daniel H. Callahan, a technology and operations executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience at Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and IBM.

Rogers is also a board member of Science Applications International Corp., and has served as a senior advisor to Brunswick Group since retiring from the Navy.
