Innodata has added Admiral Michael S. Rogers, the former head of the NSA and U.S. Cyber Command, to its board of directors, effective immediately, as the company pushes deeper into federal and cyber-related AI work.
Rogers retired in 2018 after a four-year stretch in which he simultaneously served as director of the National Security Agency and commander of U.S. Cyber Command. Before that, he led U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and the U.S. 10th Fleet, and earlier served as director of intelligence for both U.S. Pacific Command and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He is also a board member of Science Applications International Corp.
The appointment comes after Innodata recently expanded its federal practice last fall, a business line built around data engineering, model evaluation and AI enablement for U.S. government and defense missions. The company said the new board member will help guide its work on AI trust and safety for both government and enterprise customers.
Rogers joins a board that has recently been expanded with other senior defense and technology figures, including retired General Richard D. Clarke and technology executive Don Callahan.
