Origin Bancorp said it will move its stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange, with trading on the new venue expected to begin Oct. 13, 2026. The company will keep its ticker symbol OBK.
The shares are expected to remain listed on the NYSE through the close of trading on Oct. 12, 2026, giving the company a one-day transition before the TXSE listing starts.
The move follows Origin’s expansion in Texas, where it cited operations across Dallas/Fort Worth, East Texas and Houston. The company said Texas has been central to its growth, alongside its Louisiana base and broader Gulf South footprint.
Origin said it operates more than 57 locations across Dallas/Fort Worth, East Texas, Houston, North Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. The bank was founded in 1912 in Choudrant, Louisiana, and the holding company is headquartered in Ruston, Louisiana.
The Texas Stock Exchange said Origin will be one of its founding members. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 0.75% to a price of $54.82. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
