Littelfuse Announces Retirement of Deepak Nayar

Littelfuse said Deepak Nayar will retire at the end of 2027 after more than 20 years with the company, and will move into a Special Advisor to the CEO role on Jan. 1, 2027.

At the same time, Dr. Karim Hamed will take over an expanded leadership post as Senior Vice President and General Manager, CCDI Market & Electronics Segment, also effective Jan. 1, 2027.

The change consolidates Littelfuse’s Electronics and Semiconductor businesses under one leader. The company said the move is designed to sharpen its CCDI strategy, deepen customer partnerships, improve go-to-market execution, and identify opportunities for long-term growth and operational efficiencies.

Hamed joined Littelfuse in 2025 as head of the Semiconductor Business. Before that, he spent more than two decades in the semiconductor industry, including senior roles at Analog Devices, Hittite Microwave, TriQuint Semiconductor and Mimix Broadband.

Greg Henderson, Littelfuse’s CEO, said Nayar played a pivotal role in the company’s growth strategy and global market expansion, while Hamed brings the operational experience and strategic perspective to unite the two businesses in their next phase. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -0.2% to a price of $394.86. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
