News Corp said it has now repurchased about US$478.5 million of stock under its US$1 billion 2025 buyback program, leaving roughly US$521.5 million still authorized.
In the latest daily update, the company reported buying back 11,958,019 shares on the prior day, with a further 54,641 shares bought or accepted for repurchase on the day before that. The company said it paid US$311.5 million for the larger tranche and US$1.66 million for the smaller one.
The highest price paid so far in the program was US$31.58 a share, on 27 August 2026. The lowest price paid was US$22.20 a share, on 9 February 2026.
News Corp said the buyback covers its Class A and Class B Nasdaq-listed common stock and that no ASX-listed CDIs will be repurchased. The company has 359,720,370 Class A shares on issue in the class covered by the notice. Today the company's shares have moved -0.3% to a price of $30.345.
