Hive Digital Technologies said its Buzz HPC unit has struck a strategic partnership with Vancouver-based ProCogia that will tie dedicated GPU capacity in Canada to applied-AI services for enterprise and SMB clients in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
Under the arrangement, ProCogia will procure dedicated compute from Buzz HPC’s Canadian data centers and run its own AI stack on top of that infrastructure. Hive said ProCogia will also become a preferred applied-AI services partner for Buzz HPC customers.
The partnership gives ProCogia a Canadian sovereign compute base for its Zeroboxx AI framework and vertical products, including Callyeah for healthcare and Polykode for regulated code migration. Those products will run on Buzz HPC capacity as anchor workloads.
Hive framed the deal as part of a broader buildout in Canada. Over the past 12 months, the company said Buzz HPC expanded liquid-cooled AI data-center capacity in British Columbia by 4x, completed a 320 MW sovereign AI infrastructure buildout in the Greater Toronto Area, entered a sovereign AI infrastructure partnership with Bell Canada, secured a $220 million sovereign AI GPU contract with Bell AI Fabric for Cohere Inc., and signed a $350 million AI cloud services agreement with an investment-grade enterprise customer.
The company also said it is pursuing a 400 MW coast-to-coast Canadian pipeline. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 2.76% to a price of $2.98. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
