News Corporation reported that it has now spent about US$483.4 million on its 2025 share repurchase program, after buying back another 54,641 shares on the prior day for US$1.65 million.
The company said the latest daily buy-back notification covered 12,067,301 shares repurchased before the previous day and 54,641 shares bought on the previous day, bringing total consideration paid under the program to US$314.8 million and US$1.65 million, respectively, for those two reporting buckets.
The repurchase plan authorizes up to US$1 billion of the company’s Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock. With roughly US$483.4 million already deployed, News Corp has used about 48% of the authorized amount, leaving about US$516.6 million remaining.
The company listed the highest price paid under the program at US$31.58 a share, recorded on 27 August 2026, and the lowest at US$22.20 a share, recorded on 9 February 2026. The most recent daily purchase price shown was US$30.43. The buybacks are being handled by Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC.
