Dillard's Shifts Stock Listing to Texas Stock Exchange

Dillard’s said it will move the primary listings of both its Class A common stock and its 7.50% capital securities from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange.

The company said the NYSE listing for both securities is set to end at the close on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, with trading on TXSE expected to begin at the open on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026. The ticker symbols will remain unchanged: DDS for the common stock and DDT for the capital securities.

The shift puts the retailer’s equity and trust securities on a Texas exchange after Dillard’s reincorporated from Delaware to Texas in August 2025. The company said the move reflects its Texas roots and its larger footprint in the state, where it now operates 54 locations.

Dillard’s said Texas has become its largest market. The company traces its Texas presence back to 1956, when founder William T. Dillard acquired a store in Tyler.

Across its chain, Dillard’s operates 272 stores, including 28 clearance centers, in 30 states. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 0.32%, and are now trading at a price of $636.26. For the full picture, make sure to review DILLARD'S, INC.'s 8-K report.
