Dillard’s said it will move the primary listings of both its Class A common stock and its 7.50% capital securities from the New York Stock Exchange to the Texas Stock Exchange.
The shares are scheduled to stop trading on the NYSE as primary listings at the close on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, and begin trading on the TXSE at the open on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026. The company said the ticker symbols will remain unchanged: DDS for the common stock and DDT for the capital securities.
The move comes after Dillard’s reincorporated from Delaware to Texas in August 2025. The company said Texas is now its largest market, with 54 locations, up from the single store founder William T. Dillard bought in Tyler in 1956.
Dillard’s said it operates 272 stores, including 28 clearance centers, across 30 states. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 0.32% to a price of $636.26. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
