Corteva said the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission declared effective Vylor’s Form 10 registration statement, clearing the way for the seed business to separate into an independent public company on Oct. 1, 2026.
Under the planned distribution, Corteva stockholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 24, 2026 will receive one share of Vylor common stock for each Corteva share they hold. The distribution is expected before 9:30 a.m. New York time on Oct. 1.
Vylor has been authorized for listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker VYLR and is expected to begin regular-way trading that same day. Corteva said there will be no when-issued trading in Vylor shares and no ex-distribution trading in Corteva shares before the spin-off.
The filing sets out Vylor’s business, strategy and priorities ahead of the separation. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -1.21% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $79.45. For the full picture, make sure to review Corteva's 8-K report.
